Rompers aren't just for little children my friends, if you don't own the look or were thinking of getting yourself into one this summer here is some help on finding the "perfect" one.
FIT:
I suggest you try on several styles/fabrics and cuts. Rompers can be a tricky buy if the cut is off. As for myself rompers tend to be very large on me around the waist, so wearing a large over sized belt helps cut down on the "baggy" waist. Always make sure the torso is long enough on you, because if the cut is too short....it will ride up in places that aren't too pretty :) As much as I wish these were one of those things that can look good on anyone, they're just not. So try on a few and get a feel if this look is for you!
Where to find the look:
Believe it or not..I've seen this look from forever 21 www.forever21.com (just scored a really CUTE one online $39)-also from vintage stores(shopnastygal.com) also check out topshop.com. This really is a look for any budget, I've even come across some cute one's on ebay from private sellers! You can shop local boutiques or simply visit the local mall. I tend to find more unique fabrics/syles online but again I know what cut fits my body, I suggest for the first time buyers you purchase at a store so you can try on several looks.
Styling suggestions:
•Beauty- Hair in loose, beachy waves. Natural makeup. Bare legs.
•Accessories- Keep them minimal. Some over sized sunglasses, a long dangly necklace and a braided belt.
•Shoes- heels/or a pretty ballet flat (for day time look)
